Advanced settings. Aliases
The program allows setting up user and IP-address aliases. Alias is an alpha-numeric expression corresponding with some user or IP address. To set up an alias value, click on the "Edit alias" button. In the appeared window, enter the new alias value. Please note: if the same alias is set to multiple users, those users' data will be summed up when generating reports or creating log filters.
Saving and restoring alias list
Once an alias list is formed, it is highly recommended to save it to disk to be able to restore it later. To save the list to disk click on the "Save List to Disk" button.
Restoring default values
To restore the original alias values click on the "Restore Defaults" button.
Aliases convertion
Clicking on the "Aliases Convertion" button will bring up the dialog offering the alias conversion methods. Once the method is selected, each element in the list will be converted according to the selected method.
