Configure Firewall Client's local addresses

To configure Firewall Client's local addresses

  1. In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click Networks.
  2. Where?

    • Microsoft ISA Server 2004
    • Server_Name
    • Configuration
    • Networks
  3. In the details pane, click the Networks tab.
  4. On the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected Network.
  5. On the Firewall Client tab, verify that the Enable Firewall Client support checkbox is selected.
  6. On the Addresses tab, do one of the following:
    • To add a specific range of IP addresses, click Add. Then, type the first address of the network address range in Starting address and the last address of the network address range in Ending address.
    • To add IP addresses associated with a specific adapter, click Add Adapter, and then in Network Interfaces, select one or more adapters.
    • To add private address ranges, click Add Private, and then select a range from the list.

Notes

  • To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.
  • When Firewall Client is installed from the share specified by this ISA Server, the client will recognize as local IP addresses all addresses included in the specified network.
  • Firewall Client properties cannot be configured for the following built-in networks: External, Local Host, Quarantined VPN Clients, VPN Clients.
