Create a connectivity verifier

To create a connectivity verifier

  1. In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click Monitoring.
  2. Where?

    • Microsoft ISA Server 2004
    • Server_Name
    • Monitoring
  3. In the details pane, click the Connectivity tab.
  4. On the Tasks tab, click Create New Connectivity Verifier.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Notes

  • To open ISA Management, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.
  • The Dashboard view lists the connectivity status by group. If all servers in a group are responsive (and within the specified response time threshold), then the group status reflects that the servers in the group are responsive. If any server in the group is not responsive in a timely fashion, then the group status displayed reflects the worst-case status for that group; for example, "Slow connectivity" and "No connection".
