Uninstall server software
To uninstall server software
- Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server Setup, click Remove.
- When prompted Are you sure you want to uninstall this product?, click Yes.
Notes
- If you downloaded the ISA Server installation files from the Web, or if you copied the contents of the ISA Server CD, run the ISAautorun.exe file at a command prompt to begin the ISA Server installation. Then, click Install ISA Server.
- Before removing ISA Server, be sure to close ISA Server Management and ISA Server Performance Monitor.
- When you configure ISA Server, some RRAS settings may be modified. When you uninstall ISA Server, the RRAS configuration is reconfigured as follows:
- The RRAS service is disabled.
- The Remote Access Policy configured by ISA Server is deleted.
- RRAS is reset to its default settings and disabled. To configure RRAS, use the Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access wizard, accessible from the RRAS snap-in.
- Note that when you uninstall ISA Server, some files are not completely removed from the computer. The table below lists the files that remain and their location.
